I wanted a fast, straightforward place to play classic card games without an account, download, or paywall. I also wanted the underlying game logic to be treated seriously: rules should behave consistently, numbered deals should be reproducible, and claims about winnable deals should be inspectable.
The games remain the focus. This page exists so players can see who is responsible for the site and how the work is checked.
How the games are built and checked
- An independently maintained implementation: Marin works on the game rules, interface, deal generation, testing, and site content rather than relying on an unexplained game embed.
- Reproducible challenges: Numbered deals use seeded shuffles so the same game number recreates the same starting layout.
- Inspectable win claims: Random deals are labelled random. Verified-winnable Klondike deals use a separate construction and include a complete 52-card solution certificate.
- Automated checks: Core movement, scoring, statistics, seeded deals, and winnable-deal invariants are tested before release.
- Open technical details: The Solitaire Deal Lab explains the deal format and lets players inspect or download deal data.
How content is published
Rules, strategy guides, and technical articles are reviewed against the implementation and cited sources where appropriate. Articles identify their author and show publication or review details so readers can judge the source for themselves.
If you find a rule discrepancy, factual error, accessibility problem, or broken deal, please send a correction. The site is updated in response to player feedback, browser changes, and game-performance testing.
Privacy and access
The games are free to play and require no account. Game progress and preferences stay in the browser on your device. Permanent challenge links contain deal settings, not personal information. See the Privacy Policy for details.
